How do you get yourself motivated to do art?

Do you try to motivate yourself? Have you tried several ways with failure? Do you have a hard time focusing on getting started with something?

My motivation is highly based on confidence. Unfortunately, I am lacking in that department. I need to find some way to get motivated successfully.

I love looking at other types of art and other's photos etc. That often inspires me to create something, and can give me ideas. I also like quick challenges, as I do not have a lot of spare time, I can quickly fit something in. Given a theme can also motivate me. Sometimes a tube can inspire me.
There have been times when I lost my mojo, at one point for a long time. Partly through being tired, no mojo or no inspiration or no time to create something other than a quick piece of art.
