There are always people who can tell the difference. The only person you have to please is yourself, though, so as long as you are happy with what you are doing, then that is all that really matters.

Unless it's career based... then you have to go by demand. On man... been there LMAO!
 
yeah I was able to use some of my art skills at work creating a more "professional look" document, and a big improvement on the previous documents, that were sent out to parents, and whilst they loved the finished documents I produced, they never showed appreciation of my work, if that makes sense. Other's got praised and noted for their work, when all they did was get the usual job done, there was no skill involved!! I did enjoy doing it, and continued to create them till I retired.
