So, you are ready to trade? You have your cards all sleeved up? Great!
Next, get yourself a greeting card. You can purchase one, or you can make your own. I went with making my own with this "tutorial." You can use other sturdy material, as well. You can even use recycled cake boxes and the such. Just make sure they are thoroughly protected from getting bent or otherwise damaged.

Next, on the LEFT side of the inside, write a message to your partner. It can be anything you like. Tell them about your day, or you can just give them some information about your cards.

Time to place your cards! Always place the cards with the OPEN end of your sleeve towards the crease of the card. This will make sure your cards don't slide out onto the floor upon opening. Tape them down with WASHI tape. DO NOT USE CLEAR TAPE! Clear tape is way too adhesive for the plastic sleeves. It can cause warping and tearing. Only tape on one side, so it is easy to remove them.

Now... if you include any kind of extras, make sure they fit in the card. Some post offices will get a bit pissy of the envelope is too thick.

Some examples of extras can be such as these. Flat and easy to manage inside a greeting card. Just one little treat per trade is fine! Don't overstuff your envelopes.

Then just address it as normal and send them off to their new home!
When addressing your envelope to send your cards, please keep it simple. Do not overly decorate the envelopes. These travel internationally and can be confusing for the postal service. Keep. It. Simple.
Once you get your returns, then trade complete!
