Favorite Pencils

There are so many brands of pencils out there. So many... which means there are loads of choices in which ones to use.

Do you have a favorite? Why do you like them so much?
Do you have a LEAST favorite? What makes you not like them?

I have used a load of different pencils. I was using Kimberly for a while, but those are terrible! They have hard spots in them that just scratch along the paper. Sucks!

Then I used Lumograph for a while. Much smoother, but they didn't get soft enough for me... I wanted DARKER!

So I tried Hi-Uni when I got to Japan. OMG they are so nice! Smooth, dark, and just overall pleasant to work with. I also like the Faber-Castell clutch pencils. They are perfect for traveling. You can hold 20 pencils the same area you'd have 2 haha! Very convenient!

At the moment, I really don't know the difference in pencils. I just use what is closest to me.

I really am not sure at the moment I have Fabre
Clutch pencils Fabre but I think I like my old fashion wood pencils lol

I also like my wood pencils, but they are really hard to travel with. Especially when the customs people are being assholes that day...
