Has anyone ever tried APCs (Altered Playing Cards)? You can paint over (or not) a regular playing card to create an artwork. This would be really good for those who don't know (or want) to cut out cards manually.
Usually, they are done using collage, but there are plenty out there that use traditional means and media.
If you haven't tried it out, maybe you have a deck laying around somewhere. That's at least 52 cards you can create out of a deck, plus the other inserts included.
I would assume Chalk Paint would work great for turning the card into a nice base for drawing or painting.
You can have a look around Pinterest for some ideas! Remember, though, this forum is dedicated to TRADITIONAL art, so stick to paints, pencils, and markers.
