I know this area can get overwhelming, so let's do a little rundown.

Here is a checklist of what you should do with your cards before calling them finished.
  • Card Painted/drawn/completed
  • Signature on back with extra information such as date and medium
  • Sealants added (mostly for graphite, charcoal, and pastel)
  • Card packed into a plastic card sleeve
  • Card insert added with username and other various info such as social media, website, swap name, etc.
  • Card(s) attached securely to a piece of sturdy cardboard or greeting card
This is the MAIN part of trading. Be sure all 6 of these steps are followed to the T before you put your cards in an envelope.

Some things to AVOID when dealing with ATCs and Trading.
  • Do NOT laminate your originals. Lamination should be reserved for samples and prints.
  • Do NOT compare your art, or the art of others, to any other art.
  • Do NOT send your cards without sleeves and proper packing.
  • Do NOT leave your trade and swap partners in the dark. Always give updates.
  • Do NOT be afraid to do art.
This pretty much sums it up. If anyone has any questions about the procedures that are expected, don't hesitate to leave a reply or message a staff member.
